Principal Dentist
Dr Terence (Terry) Chiu is the owner and founder of Total Care Dental. He graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Dental Health Science and a Graduate Diploma of Dentistry from Griffith University, Gold Coast.
Dr Chiu is a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and the Australasian Academy of Dento-Facial Aesthetics (AADFA). He regularly attends continuing professional development seminars to stay up to date with the latest dental techniques and advancements. While experienced in all aspects of general dentistry, Dr Chiu has undertaken additional training in Orthodontics and Dento-Facial Aesthetics. His particular clinical interests include Oral Surgery and paediatric dentistry, and he is well regarded for his calm, friendly approach with children.
Outside of the practice, Dr Terry is an avid foodie and travel enthusiast. He enjoys spending quality time with his daughter and exploring new cuisines and destinations.
Dr Chiu is also fluent in Mandarin, allowing him to care for a broader range of patients with confidence and ease.
